The 4th February 2010 is World Cancer Day. To coincide with this, People Living With Cancer and their affiliated Cancer Buddy support network is calling on all South Africans to Stand Up For Cancer by signing the declaration below.
The goal is to add 100,000 signatures to the declaration that will then be handed to the South African National Department of Health to scale up awareness of the fight against cancer, which in many countries still takes a back seat to other public health priorities.
