Thanks to the generous donation made by Bristol-Myers Squibb, our Johannesburg branch buddies and CanSurvive Support Group have been able to print a Resource Brochure giving contact details for all the major cancer organisations in that area. This is proving tremendously popular and the buddies are currently distributing them to hospitals and clinics in and around Johannesburg. If anyone needs a supply of brochures for their doctor/specialist you can email jhb@plwc.org.za.

It is our desire to help all cancer patients to find the help that they need no matter where and this Brochure fills an important gap in the information available to them.

Alan Barker, of Barker Desk’nchair manufacturing, has donated 2
lengths of work stations for our new Fundraising office. We would
like to thank him for his generous donation. These workstations are
used everyday, are so comfortable, and are of top- class quality. This
sponsorship has saved Cancer Buddies just shy of R5000.

Alan is a cancer survivor himself – diagnosed in April 2006 and been clear since December 2008. Thank you Alan!
