Cancer changes your life. Life includes your intimacy, your sexuality. Sexuality and cancer facts:

-  Cancer, treatment and maintenance therapies affect your sexuality

-  Commonly a negative relationship with your body  develops

-  Low self image gets in the way of your intimate loving

-  Painful sex, loss of arousal and a low desire for intimacy is a result of cancer

-  Often times sexual dysfunction and intimacy problems were present before the diagnosis of cancer.

-  Sexuality and intimacy deserve special attention in women diagnosed with cancer

Dr. Marlene Wasserman, Clinical Sexologist and Linda Greeff, Human Resources Manager and Oncology Social Worker, invite you to

PILLOWBOOK SENSUAL LIFESTYLE WOMAN’S GROUP FOR WOMEN WITH A DIAGNOSIS OF CANCER.

This is an exciting group process for women who want to explore and experience themselves as sexually healthy.  The group offers skills, confidence and knowledge to women like you, to enable you to achieve meaningful sexual intimacy post cancer.  Within the privacy and confidentiality of Dr. Wasserman’s rooms, you can safely enjoy a professional forum which is safe, fun & personally challenging.

This group is designed for you: women diagnosed with cancer. Special attention will be given to the specific issues you face.

DATES :  once a week, for 7 weeks. Dates to be finalized.

TIME :  5.30-7.30PM

VENUE :  SUITE 205b SEA POINT MEDICAL CENTER, 11 KLOOF RAOD, SEA POINT

COST :  R4,500.

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU ATTEND ALL 7 SESSSIONS.
